We Need Help
Mia's bladder stone removal surgery was a success! The Vet also removed her mammary tumors and she is resting comfortably. Mia's unexpected stone surgery wiped us out financially. But that's not the worst of itWe were just hit with 2 more emergencies, not including Chase, the Shih Tzu from the Brooklyn Animal Care and Control Center that has the mass in his stomach. Noelle, our 12 yr. old Yorkie, was brought to the vet, turns out she has pyometra, a severe infection in her uterus. She will undergo emergency surgery on Friday.And let's not forget about our Wheaten Henry. He is scheduled to have the 2 masses on his back removed on Tuesday.Yesterday, along with Sammy, we rescued Precious, from the Manhattan ACC, both pulled off the euth list the night before. Aside from the mammary masses we knew about, everything else appeared normal, until last night when she attempted to urinate and nothing but blood came out. She was rushed her to the vet and wouldn't you know, she has a stone in her bladder just like Mia! So she will be going for emergency surgery on Friday as well!!
